Receive events in your webhook endpoint

Listen for events so your integration can react when something happens in your account, like a successful payment or a refund.

Verify the signature before you trust the event. Use the raw request body, not the parsed JSON. Return a 2xx status quickly, then do the work in the background.

const event = payments.webhooks.verify(
  rawBody, req.headers["payments-signature"], secret
)

Keyboard

One shortcut,
every app.

Press ⌥ ⇧ Space in any app, full screen or not. The bar rises from the bottom of the screen without taking focus from what you were doing, and Esc puts it away.

Try it on this keyboard. You can change the shortcut in Settings.

Context, already attached

It knows what
you're looking at.

Every press reads the app you're in, the way that app understands it: the page and your selection in a browser, the file and the repo's changes in an editor, the full text of a PDF, the error in your terminal.

Apps with nothing to read, like Figma or a video, get a screenshot read with on-device OCR, and ⌘R adds any region you drag. Each piece is a chip you can leave out.

Answers in the bar

Ask,
and the answer comes to you.

Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Cursor Agent and Apple Intelligence answer right in the bar, working in your project folder. The Claude and ChatGPT apps answer there too, through Claude Code and the Codex that ships with ChatGPT, on the same account.

Ask a follow-up, copy the answer, paste it back into the app you were in, or continue in the terminal when it should edit files.

Bring your own agents

Every agent you pay for.
One shortcut.

Beckon finds the agents on your Mac and uses the subscriptions you already have. Pick one per kind of app, let Apple Intelligence pick as you type, or ⌘-click to ask two at once.

What you're looking at flows through Beckon to your agents
  • Web page sends to Beckon
  • Code project sends to Beckon
  • PDF sends to Beckon
  • Terminal sends to Beckon
  • Beckon sends to Claude Code
  • Beckon sends to Codex
  • Beckon sends to ChatGPT
  • Beckon sends to Apple Intelligence

Usage in one place

Every limit,
one click away.

Click the hand in the menu bar. Claude's and Codex's 5-hour and weekly limits with when they reset, Cursor's plan for the billing cycle, Claude Code's tokens and OpenCode's cost, all in one popover.

When a limit passes 75%, the number appears next to the icon, so you see it coming before an agent stops mid-task. Codex, Claude Code and OpenCode are read from their own logs on your Mac; Claude and Cursor plan limits are asked live with their sign-ins, if you turn it on.

And the rest

Small things
that add up.

Pick the model

Opus or Sonnet for Claude, any model on your Codex plan, any of OpenCode's providers. Chosen in the bar, remembered per agent.

Translate anything

⌘T translates the answer or your selection on this Mac with Apple Translation, and Paste puts it back in place. Any other language goes to Apple Intelligence or your agent.

Apple Intelligence, on device

Suggests what to ask about the screen, picks a coding agent or a chat app as you type, and condenses long pages. Nothing goes to Apple.

Secrets masked

API keys, tokens and passwords on screen are replaced before anything is sent. Password fields and password managers are never read.

Ask two at once

⌘-click a second agent to send the same question to both, and compare.

Any region, ⌘R

Drag over a chart, a design or a video frame; Beckon reads it with on-device OCR and attaches the image.

A default per app

Claude Code when you're in a terminal, ChatGPT in a browser, Claude in Mail. Set it once in Settings.

Paste it back

Put the answer into the app you were in, like a reply in Mail or a doc, with one click.

MCP built in

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex can ask Beckon what you were looking at, with a read-only tool.

Works offline

No account and no servers of ours. A weekly license check is the only request by default, and it keeps working for 30 days without one.

Only when you press it

Beckon reads nothing in the background. Every piece of context is a chip you can leave out before sending.

Questions

Press ⌥⇧Space anywhere. A bar rises from the bottom of the screen with what you're looking at already attached as chips: the page, the PDF, the project, the selected text or a screenshot. Type an optional message, pick an agent and press Return. Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Cursor Agent and Apple Intelligence answer right in the bar, with follow-ups, Copy and Paste. The Claude and ChatGPT apps answer there too, through Claude Code and the Codex that ships with ChatGPT, on the same account. Agents with no way to answer back, like Perplexity, open with everything pasted in.

Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI and Cursor Agent in your terminal; the Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, OpenCode and Cursor apps; and Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini on the web. Any other command-line agent works too: add it in Settings with a {prompt} placeholder. Beckon uses the subscriptions you already have; it has no AI account of its own.

It reads the files the agents already keep on your Mac. Codex logs its real 5-hour and weekly limits, so you see exact percentages and reset times. Claude Code logs every token, so you see the current 5-hour block and the week; turn on Live plan limits and Beckon also shows Claude's real 5-hour and weekly limits and Cursor's plan usage with reset times, asked with each app's own sign-in, as their own usage screens do. OpenCode logs tokens and cost. The chat apps keep usage on their own servers, so the panel links to their usage pages and counts what you sent from Beckon.

Only to the agent you choose, when you press Return. Beckon reads the screen only when you press the shortcut, shows every piece as a chip you can leave out, never reads password fields or password managers, and masks API keys and tokens before sending. It has no analytics and no servers. By default the only network request it makes is a weekly license check; the optional Live plan limits add a request to Anthropic and Cursor when you open the menu.

Yes. The bar has a model menu for the selected agent: Opus, Sonnet or Haiku for Claude Code and the Claude app, the models on your Codex plan for Codex and ChatGPT, and every model OpenCode's providers offer. Any other model ID works too. Beckon remembers the choice per agent.

Yes. Press ⌘T or pick a language from the translate menu, and Beckon translates the answer, or your selection, on your Mac with Apple Translation, offering to download a language the first time. When what you selected is in another language, it suggests translating it into yours. Languages Apple Translation doesn't cover go to Apple Intelligence or your agent, so any language works.

On Macs that support it, Beckon uses Apple's on-device model to suggest prompts for what's on screen, to pick a suitable agent as you type, and to condense very long pages for chat apps. It all runs on your Mac. Without Apple Intelligence, everything else works the same.

Accessibility, to read selected text and the open file and to paste into chat apps. Screen Recording, for on-device OCR of windows with no readable text. Automation, which macOS asks for the first time Beckon talks to each browser or terminal. Each one is optional and adds context.

Beckon labels everything it captures as reference material, not instructions, and passes prompts to terminal agents through a file, so nothing on screen ever runs as a shell command. Your agents keep their own permission prompts.

No. $59 once for a single license on one Mac, with every 1.x update. Moving to a new Mac? Deactivate it in Settings → License on the old one, then activate it on the new one. It works offline; the license is checked once a week and keeps working for 30 days without a connection.

macOS 26 Tahoe or later · Apple silicon and Intel. Apple Intelligence features need an Apple silicon Mac with Apple Intelligence turned on. The app is about 3.5 MB.
